Video games are very popular, even among adults. Many people in their thirties and forties grew up with video games, so they see them differently than the previous generation. They may spend a lot of time playing them.

Unfortunately, this can take a toll on their relationships. Some studies have seen a rising rate of obsessive video game usage being cited in divorce petitions. They claim that people become so involved in playing video games constantly that they drift apart from their spouses.
